On foot

By far, the best way to arrive at Paulianne is on foot, probably via the Vercors National Park, which is a plateau at 2000 metres immediately to the north of the farm.  It takes 3-4 days to walk from Grenoble.  A gentler route is available from Avignon via les Barronies to the south of the farm, which is another 4 day walk. Or you might want to leave the mountain train from Grenoble to Marseille at Clelles and walk the Col de Menee (1400 metres) or the Col de Grimone (1300 metres) and spend a night in one of the many mountain refuges on the way. We are only a small detour away from several grandes randonnées that traverse this magnificent part of the Dauphinée Alps in all directions. If you want detailed advice about walking here, please ask.
